Halifax Regional Police are investigating a sudden death in Bayers Lake on Wednesday.
At approximately 7:05 a.m., officers responded to the 0-100 block of Washmill Lake Drive for reports of an injured man.

When police arrived they located a man dead on the ground in the parking lot of Michaels.
By 9 a.m., the eastern part of the parking lot had been blocked off by police tape.
Customers were being informed that the Old Navy and Michaels located in the area had been closed for the day due to the investigation.
Officers say that the man is 35 years old and from Ontario. Officials are not releasing his name at this time.

An autopsy is scheduled for later on Wednesday and Halifax police say their investigation is ongoing.
