Winnipeg police and Crown attorneys are deciding whether to lay charges in a bizarre machete attack.
Saturday afternoon, a 21-year-old man randomly started kicking and banging on the door of a home on Good Street.
A 30-year-old man inside was startled and under the impression that the man was trying to break in. So, he armed himself with a machete knife and went outside to warn the stranger to leave.
That’s when the 21-year-old charged towards the resident, who struck the man in the arm with the machete.
The 21-year-old is in hospital in stable condition.
