EDMONTON- Rescue crews are searching for a 42-year-old man, whose abandoned boat was found Saturday night on a northern Alberta lake.
RCMP say Serge Paulin was last seen between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. His boat was later located about a quarter of a kilometre from the shore of Christina Lake. That’s about 12 kilometres south of the Christina Lake Lodge, where he had said he would be fishing.

RCMP, along with Search and Rescue, and Fisheries and Wildlife are conducting both land and water searches, in hopes of finding Paulin.
He is described as Caucasian, 6′ 2″ tall, and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red T-Shirt, khaki shorts and sandals.
Christina Lake is located about 375 kilometres northeast of Edmonton.
Officers are extremely concerned for Paulin’s safety, and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Wood Buffalo Detachment at 780-788-4000.
