Fire crews had to rescue a woman pinned under fallen drywall after a partial ceiling collapse at her home in East Kildonan Friday night.
It happened at 605 Louelda just after 10 p.m.

Fire officials tell Global News the woman and a man were watching television when a section of roof near their front entrance collapsed.
When fire crews arrived they found the woman pinned. They were able to help both people out of the home with no serious injuries.
It’s not clear yet how much the recent heavy rain contributed to the accident.
