The sun may not have been shining but there were few complaints about the weather Sunday at Assiniboine Park. Perhaps it was the upbeat children’s entertainment, the abundance of teddy bears and the colourful faces of kids. The annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic attracted thousands to the park and raised some serious cash for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
I had the pleasure of volunteering at the Shaw tent where we featured a cable toss. Picture a ring toss but with cable instead of rings! I was volunteering with Mike Koncan and Eva Kovacs as well as Eva’s daughter, Julia, who was a huge help. Thanks to everyone who came by to say hi. Here are a couple of my pictures:
