– Canada's "Gold Rush" continues at the 2010 Olympics as Ashleigh McIvor is not only a Champion but the answer to a new trivia question. Which athlete won the first ever Olympic Gold Medal in Ladies Ski Cross? Canada's Ashleigh McIvor! Big props to her too – winning that race in subpar conditions (snow, wind, low visability) is impressive.

– I didn't get a chance to see Joannie Rochette's Short Program but I've seen the hilites. Wow! The raw emotion, the way she cried after her performance… so genuine, so real. I'm happy to see her in third place and would love to see her win a medal after everything she went through in the last few days.

– Gotta feel for Sven Kramer of the Netherlands. He sets an Olympic Record in the Long Track Speed Skating – Men's 10,000m. He wins Gold, right? WRONG! Halfway through his race, his coach clearly points him to the inner lane – despite wanting to go to the outside lane, Kramer listens to his coach. Turns out the coach was wrong and Kramer got DQ'd. Ouch! Felt awful for the Dutch Speed Skating Star.

– Good win for Canada but all eyes shift towards tonight's massive battle – Ovechkin x Crosby… Canada x Russia… Quarter-Finals! Doesn't get much better than that!
