Woman arrested in connection with Amherstview stabbing

Breanne Hass charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon, following what police says was a road rage incident - ending a the stabbing of a 47-year old male – Aug 9, 2019

A Quinte West woman is facing aggravated assault and assault with a weapon charges following a stabbing in Amherstview.

It happened just after 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Police say they were called to the intersection of Amherst Drive and Speers Boulevard, following reports that two motorists were arguing with each other.

At some point both got out of their vehicles, during the incident, police allege 24-year-old Breanne Hass of Quinte West stabbed a 47-year-old man in front of the victim’s family.

Paramedics were called to the scene, and the man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 24-year-old woman was arrested Friday morning.
