Six people injured in crash near Drumheller

CALGARY – Six people have been rushed to hospital after a three vehicle crash west of Drumheller.

The collision happened on Highway 9 near Highway 21 around 10 a.m. on Friday.

STARS air ambulance rushed to the scene, transporting one person to Foothills Hospital in Calgary. EMS say the victim was thrown from the vehicle.

The five other victims were transported to hospital by ground ambulance.

Drumheller is located about an hour and a half northeast of Calgary.
