Mercier bridge reopens ahead of schedule

Transport Québec has confirmed that the Honoré Mercier Bridge has opened a week early on Sunday.

Construction on the bridge finished ahead of schedule and both directions are now open, Transport Québec said.

The construction was set to finish on July 20 but resumed six days early.
