A new champion has been crowned at the SaskTel Provincial Men's Tankard. Saskatoon's Darrell McKee, Bruce Korte, Roger Korte and Rob Markowsky will represent Saskatchewan at the Tim Hortons' Brier after a hard fought 7-5 win over last year's champion Joel Jordison and his foursome.

It wasn't easy, as McKee stole one in the tenth to win this game.
Now Darrell McKee is no stranger to the Tim Hortons' Brier. He's been there before – but not as a skip. Not to worry, however, as his team is filled with experience.
Darrell McKee: 2000 Tankard Champion (third for Team Korte); 2009 Mixed Champion (skip)
Bruce Korte: 2004 Tankard Champion (skip); 2000 Tankard Champion (skip)
Roger Korte: 2004 Tankard Champion (second for Team Korte); 2000 Tankard Champion (second for Team Korte)
Rob Markowsky: 1993 Provincial Junior Men's Champion (third)
So the focus now shifts to Halifax, Nova Scotia and the 2010 Tim Hortons' Brier. Will Darrell McKee bring the Brier back to Saskatchewan for the first time since 1980? Will Rick Folk no longer be the "last skip to win a Brier for Saskatchewan"?
The quest to end the Brier drought begins March 6th as Darrell McKee and Team Saskatchewan will face Rod MacDonald and Team Prince Edward Island.
*A reminder SaskTel Max will have the Final of the SaskTel Tankard "On Demand" starting tomorrow.*
