MONTREAL – A 19-year-old man has died after his car hit a tractor on Monday night in the Monteregie region.
The incident happened along highway 112 in Rougemont around 10:40 pm when a car hit the back of a large farm tractor.

Quebec provincial police said the victim was from Ange-Gardien, Quebec.
The jaws of life were used to remove the driver from his vehicle and he later died in hospital around midnight.
The tractor driver was treated for shock and will not be facing charges.
Police suggested that speed may have played a role in the collision.
