The Winnipeg Blue Bombers confirmed Wednesday what has been known for a couple of weeks and speculated about for the past few months.
The Blue and Gold announced that IG Field will be the site of an NFL exhibition game between the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers on Aug. 22.

Officials wouldn’t say how many people they expect at the game, but hoped there would be strong support.
Valour FC had a Canadian Premier League game scheduled for Aug. 22 at IG Field, so that game will be rescheduled or moved.
