TORONTO — At least one member of British boy band One Direction is gay, according to singer Lance Bass.
“My guess is one of them is gay,” said the former ‘N Sync star during an interview with The Rubin Report.

“Statistically speaking, one probably is.”
Bass, 34, said One Direction is designed to appeal to young females who “fantasize about these guys.”
Coming out simply wouldn’t be an option for any of the group’s members.
“You have the record label and everyone grooming you to make sure that you don’t even mention you have a girlfriend,” he said, “so screw the fact that you’re gonna come out as being gay. It ruins their whole business plan.”
Bass came out publicly in 2006, after ‘N Sync had parted ways.
