Flooding in Perth-Andover, N.B.

The 500 residents evacuated from their homes in Perth-Andover, N.B. Friday in the midst of a devastating flood are starting to return home. As the St. John River began continued to recede, Premier David Alward announced the province would offer financial assistance to those affected. Damage from the flood, one of the highest the town has seen, is estimated to be around $25 million.
