Vancouver police confirm a 36-year-old man has died after falling off a crabbing boat near Vancouver’s Musqueam Reserve.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre said the man fell off the boat just before 9 p.m.

Two other people in the boat were able to pull the drowning man from the water and a hovercraft from the Sea Island Coast Guard Base met the group and took the man on board.
CPR was performed while the man was transported back to the base and he was taken to hospital when the vessel reached the shore.
Police said the man, who was from Vancouver, has succumbed from his injuries.
