A home in the community of Lake Bonavista suffered damage in a garage fire on Thursday.
Firefighters arrived at Lake Mead Crescent S.E. at around 6 a.m. to find flames and smoke pouring from the home.

Crews said the fire spread to the roof of the attached garage but they were able to stop it from going any further. The home did, however, suffer smoke damage throughout.
No injuries were reported.
The fire destroyed two cars parked in the garage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
