KELOWNA — Five members of the Kelowna Rockets have made the final rankings of draft eligible players for the 2013 NHL entry draft.
Getting the endorsement of pro scouts is no guarantee of making it to the NHL, but it’s a very promising start.
Defenceman Madison Bowey is ranked as the 32nd best North American skater, down slightly from the mid-season rankings when he was listed at number 22.

Bowey is currently playing with Team Canada’s under-18 team in Russia.
Fellow blueliner Mitchell Wheaton also made the list.
Wheaton only played in 39 games in his rookie season with the Rockets, but was plus 20.
Defenceman turned forward Myles Bell, who led the Rockets in scoring this season, has been steadily moving up the rankings all year long.
He is now expected to be drafted in the second or third round.
Tyrell Goulbourne has been ranked by Central Scouting for the first time. The forward is listed at number 151.
Goalie Jackson Whistle didn’t see a lot of action this year because he was the back-up.
The West Kelowna native won 15 of 18 games he appeared in this season.
He is ranked as the number 27 goalie.
