RCMP catch suspected drug trafficker on flight from Winnipeg

A man on a commercial flight from Winnipeg to Island Lake, Man., was arrested Wednesday by RCMP after being suspected of drug trafficking.

RCMP said a search uncovered three large packages containing 140 grams of cocaine and 100 Percocet pills.

Lawrence Ashley McIvor, 26, of Sandy Bay First Nation, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and taken into custody.
