Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a stabbing in Cambridge that left two people injured.
Police say they were called to a home on Newport Drive at around 2:50 p.m. on Thursday for a report of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, they found two men with stab wounds. Both men were transported to hospital with one being sent to Hamilton with serious injuries.
Police said they believe this was a targeted incident.
They are also warning those who live in the area to expect an increased police presence as the investigation continues.
