Suspect wanted in knife-point sex assault in North York: police

Toronto police are searching for a suspect wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at knife-point in North York.

Police said the incident happened on Thursday around 10:15 p.m. near the area of Don Mills Road and McNicoll Avenue.

Authorities said a 23-year-old woman stepped off a bus and was walking along McNicoll Avenue when a man approached her at knife-point and demanded money.

Police said the suspect sexually assaulted her and then forced her to a nearby school where she was sexually assaulted a second time.

The man fled then fled on foot towards Don Mills Road.

The suspect is described as black, around 25 years of age, between five feet seven inches to five feet eight inches tall, with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured beanie hat, black jacket, white sweatpants and carrying a black knapsack.
