Police said the officers found a man’s body inside the residence when they arrived.

An autopsy was conducted in Calgary on Thursday, however, police declined to reveal the cause of death. The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Matthew Berresford, police said in a news release issued on Friday.

Robin Berresford, 36, has been charged with murder and was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing. Police said they could not yet say if the charge will be first-degree or second-degree murder. She is scheduled to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on Tuesday.

“While the investigation continues, the RCMP confirm that they are not seeking any other suspects in relation to this incident,” police said.
