Two male suspects are being sought after London police say two people were allegedly robbed at gunpoint in the city’s Wortley Village neighbourhood on Thursday.
Police said they were called to the area of Wortley Road near Askin Street around 2 p.m. for a report of a robbery.
According to investigators, two male suspects had attended the area to smoke marijuana. One allegedly pointed a firearm at the two victims and stole a quantity of marijuana worth more than $1,000, police said.

“The victims reported the two suspects threatened their lives and then ran off,” police said.
Police did not say how or why the suspects and victims came into contact or whether they were known to each other.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 15 and 20 years old, approximately five-foot-eight, with a medium build. Police said he has dark eyes, dark, short, curly hair, and wore dark clothing and oversized bright red shoes.
The second is described as a black male between 15 and 20 years old, approximately six-foot-one, with a slim build. Police said he has a long face and loose dreadlock-style hair and was wearing dark clothing and a hooded sweater.
