Police search for suspect they say robbed 5 Hamilton stores within weeks

Hamilton police are asking for public assistance in identifying a suspect who they believe was responsible for five convenience store robberies this month.

The suspect is described by police as a six-foot tall white man with a medium build in his mid-to-late 20s. The suspect was reportedly wearing a “parka style” jacket during the incidents.

Police say no one was injured during the robberies, despite the man threatening store employees with a weapon. In each occurrence, police say the suspect fled with cash before police arrived.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 10:00 p.m. at Big Bee located in the area of Cannon and Wentworth St.
