Snow blamed for elderly pedestrian’s death in Maple Ridge

RCMP say an 85-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Maple Ridge Tuesday morning.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. at 228th St. near Dewdney Trunk Rd.

Police say the man was crossing the street when he was struck.
