The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced they have signed three-time all-star and defensive tackle Micah Johnson to a one-year deal.

Johnson spent the last six seasons with the Calgary Stampeders winning two Grey Cups in 2014 and 2018.

In 17 games last year, Johnson registered 28 defensive tackles and a career-high 14 quarterback sacks.

Through his six seasons in the CFL, Johnson has 165 defensive tackles, 41 quarterback sacks and 13 tackles for loss in 81 career regular-season games.

Johnson has also played in five playoff games and three Grey Cup games.
