MARKHAM, Ont. – Police say they’re seeking witnesses to a deadly collision north of Toronto.
York regional police say they were called to the scene of the crash late on Monday afternoon.
They say a Ford Fusion collided with a cement pillar before catching fire.

Police say the male driver was pronounced dead at the scene, adding they have not yet been able to confirm his identity.
Anyone with information on the crash is being asked to come forward.
