Surrey RCMP are investigating a collision that claimed the life of a pedestrian on King George Boulevard early Friday.
Police say the pedestrian was transported to hospital where she later died of her injuries.

RCMP say the cause of the collision is unknown at this time. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
King George Boulevard northbound from 67 Avenue and southbound from 70 Avenue was closed to traffic as 68 Avenue from 135 Street and 137 Street.
