Wellington County OPP say they are investigating a disturbing report of voyeurism in Fergus after it was reported that a teen girl was being recorded while changing in a basement.
Police said it happened on the evening of Jan. 12 in the town’s northeast end.
The victim reported seeing someone at a rear window of a basement, holding some sort of electronic video device.

Police said officers arrived within minutes but did not locate a suspect.
It happened at around 9 p.m. and police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to call police 1-888-310-1122.

The OPP is also reminding residents to always be aware of their surroundings and remain vigilant of their personal safety and privacy.
