Veteran forward Rickard Hugg is the new captain of the Kitchener Rangers.
The Sweden native has had an impressive 2018-19 campaign, scoring 18 goals and setting up another 30 in 40 games.

He was initially picked by the club in the second round of the 2017 CHL Import Draft.

The team has not had anyone in the role this year. Connor Bunnaman was the Rangers captain last season.
Riley Damiani, Greg Meireles, Joseph Garreffa and Cole Cameron will rotate through wearing the ‘A’ jersey.
