Police seek suspect after man allegedly threatened with rifle in Saskatoon

Saskatoon police said they have identified one of three suspects in connection with an alleged assault where a man was also threatened with a rifle.

Officers were called just after midnight on Jan. 21 to the parking lot of a bar in the 3300-block of Fairlight Drive where a 28-year-old man reported being assaulted by another man and two women.

The man said he was beaten with brass knuckles, and then the other man threatened him with a rifle.

Police said his injuries were non-life-threatening.

Detectives with the targeted enforcement section identified Andrew Steven Fisher, 29, as a suspect on Jan. 29.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Fisher, of Saskatoon, who is wanted for assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, and several other Criminal Code offences.

Fisher is described as five-foot 11, 145 pounds, with a medium build and shortly cropped dark hair. He has tattoos on his upper arms, hands and neck.

Police are working to identify the two other suspects.
