RCMP in the Shuswap are turning to the public to help find the person involved in an armed robbery.
It happened at a downtown business in Salmon Arm last Friday.
RCMP officers were called to the site of the robbery on Shuswap Street just before 10 a.m.
According to police, the suspect robbed the store using a firearm.
The male suspect fled the area towards Lakeshore Drive.
He’s described as approximately five-feet-seven-inches tall, slim build with short hair and a scruffy beard.
He was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, dark sunglasses and a dark hat at the time.
Anyone who may have seen this man downtown is asked to call the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250 832 6044 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
