Middlesex London Health Unit launches virtual tour of overdose prevention site

The Middlesex London Health Unit (MLHU) is giving Londoners a chance to take a virtual look inside the city’s temporary overdose prevention site.

An online tour, which gives the community a better perspective of the site’s layout and the work being done there, was announced Thursday.

The tour is available through the MLHU’s website. The page also talks about the services provided to clients including the aftercare room and needle exchange program.

The temporary overdose prevention site is located at 186 King St., embedded inside the Regional HIV/AIDS Connection.

It has received more than 12,000 visits and has helped to reverse more than 70 overdoses since opening last February.
