History

The political history of the Calgary-McCall riding is varied. Voters elected Progressive Conservatives from 1979 to 2008, when Liberal MLA Darshan Kang was elected. He held onto his seat in 2012, but eventually moved on to seek a seat with the federal Liberal government.
