TORONTO — Selena Gomez is kicking off her world tour in Canada.
The 20-year-old singer-actress announced Monday her Stars Dance World Tour will start Aug. 14 at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena and then stop in seven other cities across Canada.

The four-month tour will hit Calgary (08/16), Edmonton (08/17), Saskatoon (08/18), Winnipeg (08/19), Ottawa (08/22), Montreal (08/23) and Toronto (08/24).
Tickets for all the Canadian dates go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on May 3.
Gomez is touring in support of her fourth album, which is due this summer. The first single “Come & Get It” was released last week.
After crossing Canada, Gomez will take the tour overseas and then return to the U.S. for shows in October and November.
