President Barack Obama regained the top spot on Forbes’ third annual ranking of ‘The 70 Most Powerful People in the World,’ having lost it last year to Chinese President Hu Jintao. Four factors were taken into account to select the 70 people that matter from the 7 billion people on the planet: how many people they have power over; the financial resources they control; if they have influence in more than one sphere; and how actively they wield their power to change the world. Global News takes a look at who made the top 5 list of the world’s most powerful people.
