Today, the provincial government held a ceremony to commemorate the old Port Mann Bridge, and transportation minister Mary Polak unveiled a 1964 commemorative plaque from the original bridge, as well as a new plaque to mark the opening of the new crossing.

Both plaques will be mounted along the brand new port Mann bridge pedestrian and cycling path once all 10 lanes have been completed.
