Montreal-shot series ‘Being Human’ renewed

TORONTO — Canadians working on the U.S. cable series Being Human got some good news Wednesday: The show has been renewed for a fourth season.

The series, produced by Montreal-based Muse Entertainment, is filmed in Montreal.

Based on the BBC series of the same name, Being Human stars Sam Witwer, Sam Huntington and Montreal’s Meaghan Rath as three roommates in Boston trying to live a regular life despite being a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost.

The shows airs on SyFy in the U.S. and on Space in Canada.

SyFy ordered another 13-episode season.

The season three finale aired Monday.
