Hamilton police say a man has been charged after he allegedly threatened an airport and a hospital.
Police were called to Hamilton’s John C. Munro International Airport after 10:00 p.m., on Wednesday night to investigate the threat, which was made on social media and also concerned Hamilton Health Sciences.
No flights were disrupted as a result of the investigation and police say both the airport and the hospitals are safe.
They say officers searched a Hamilton home on Friday and arrested a 22-year-old local man without incident.
Anthony Antoski-Southon of Hamilton is facing several charges, including three counts of uttering threats to cause death, as well as charges of mischief, unauthorized use of a computer and failing to comply with recognizance.
He is being held for a bail hearing.
