Three men taken to hospital following altercation in Hobbema

Edmonton – Three men were taken to hospital Sunday with stab wounds after an altercation in Hobbema.

Maskwacis RCMP were called to the ambulance station in Hobbema where two men suffering from stab wounds had been driven.

Police then received a second called while at the ambulance station that there was a third male in the Samson town site suffering from stab wounds.

All three men were first taken to Wetaskiwin hospital, then to hospitals in Edmonton.

One of the men is in serious condition, while the other two are in stable condition.

All three individuals are known to police.

The incident is considered gang related.

Maskwacis RCMP Community Response Unit and Wetaskiwin RCMP General Investigation Section are investigating.
