Regina Fire crews responded to a roof collapse in Regina on Monday morning.

The collapse happened at Absolute Cash Pawn Shop on the 2900 block of Dewdney Ave.

Fire crews on scene said the roof probably collapsed due to heavy snow on the building’s roof – a shovel found on the roof indicated that someone had started removing the snow from the roof but did not finish.

No one was inside the building at the time of the collapse and there were no injuries.
