6-year-old boy with autism found safe in Red Deer after running from caregiver

A six-year-old boy with autism who slipped away from his caregiver at a bus stop in Eastview has been found safe, Red Deer RCMP said.

He ran away from the bus stop at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.

The child was found safe later that day, RCMP said.

“Red Deer RCMP thank the many citizens who offered assistance to police in locating him.”
