SASKATOON – The Saskatchewan SPCA has seized 25, improperly cared for, horses from a rural property in the Wynyard area and is asking for the public’s help.

The society is seeking a temporary caretaker for the horses until permanent new owners can be found.

A number of complaints from neighbours in the Wynyard region launched a long-term investigation which resulted in the seizure of an assortment of animals also including dogs, cats and goats.

For more information about the animals residents can call 306-382-2418.

Charges are pending in this case and if successful, the society will be seeking an animal-ownership prohibition.
