Man upgraded to stable condition after West End stabbing

A man was rushed to hospital in critical condition after an attack in Winnipeg’s West End early Sunday morning.

Police said the victim, a man in his 20s, is now in stable condition after being found with serious stab wounds.

Officers were called to the scene at McGee Street and Ellice Avenue at 7:15 a.m.

Police are continuing their investigation throughout the day. Anyone with information on the assault is asked to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
