Montreal police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men in connection with a theft at a Dorval mosque last August.
The incident, Montreal police said, occurred after 2 p.m. on Aug. 21.

The first man is seen wearing a black, short-sleeved shirt with a white ‘EKCO’ logo.
He also has a tattoo on his right forearm.

He is followed breaded man seen entering the mosque, wearing an orange Denver Broncos baseball cap and a black “Bonfire Outerwear” T-shirt.
Both men are white and appear to have brown hair.
The footage shows the building entryway, but not the robbery.
The men entered after members of the mosque celebrated the day sacrifice.
Mehmet Deger, Dorval Mosque president says the men stole the donations that were collected that day.
“We don’t collect that much money from our donation boxes, it was $425,” Deger said.
Deger says the suspected thief’s left with a total of $700.
The donations were going to be used to buy food for needy families and refugees.
“There is no need to steal from mosques, churches and Synagogues,” Deger said. “It isn’t worth it.”
Exterior surveillance footage shows the two men driving away in a grey sports utility vehicle.
