Five people, including two small children, are in hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Glanbrook.
Hamilton police said the crash happened just shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday on Nebo Road north of Dickenson Road.
According to police, the 17-year-old male driver of a Ford vehicle was attempting to pass another car by entering the oncoming lane when his vehicle collided with a Honda heading in the opposite direction.
The 29-year-old woman driver of the Honda and her two children — a 3-week-old baby and a 2-year-old child — were all taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The teenage driver of the Ford and his 18-year-old passenger also suffered serious injuries and were transported to hospital.
The 17-year-old driver, whose name will not be released due to his age, is facing four counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.

Police say the vehicle had been stolen earlier in the day.
