Steve Makris’ review of Epson label makers

Epson LW300 Label Works. Epson

Good Easter Sunday, morning folks. On Sunday’s Global TV Morning News Tech Talk segment, I showed the art of printing photos on T-Shirts, as well as Epson label makers.

I used Epson 8.5”x11” Iron-On Cool Peel Transfer Paper which sells for $16.99 for a ten sheet pack.

Epson’s Labelworks kits print iron-on labels for fabric, like the LW-300 model, $39.99 I also showed, come in a case, are battery operated for portability and include two colour cartridges with a huge selection of additional colours. It has a large variety of fonts, sizes, more than 300 built-in symbols and more than 75 frames you can print in. You can also save up to 30 labels in memory for recall. Additional tape cartridges in a variety of type and background colours like black, pink, gold, silver, green, grey and glow-in-the-dark are available for $20 per cartridge, good for about 75 labels.

The Epson Labeworks LW-400, $49.99 prints labels with peel-off for attaching on solid objects and has a memory for 50 personalized labels.

Both models are available at London Drugs.
