Updated: Two charged with attempted murder after apparent stabbings

UPDATE: A second person has been charged in relation to the investigation into the apparent stabbings on Sept. 1 that sent a man and woman to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 15-year-old female and a 15-year-old male are facing two counts of attempted murder.

The male appeared in court on Sept. 4 while the female will appear in court on Wednesday.

Regina police were called to the 700 block of Garnet Street at approximately at 9:15 p.m.

There, officers found two people injured: a 36-year-old man and 52-year-old woman.

Their injuries were consistent with an assault with a weapon, police said.

The incident is still under investigation.
