A man was rushed to hospital in serious condition after an assault at a home on Martha Street early Sunday morning.
In a statement from police, officers were called to the home around 6:00 a.m. after hearing a man had been assaulted.
Crews have since taped off three homes on Martha Street between Disraeli Freeway and Logan Avenue. Two police cars were on scene just after 11:00 a.m., Sunday.
Blood was spotted on the sidewalk and steps leading up to one of the homes.

The Winnipeg Police Service Identification Unit was also seen Sunday morning.
Members of the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate.
