One of the wading pools in front of the Alberta legislature is closed after a fault with the plumbing was discovered, the province said on Wednesday.

The pool affected is the northernmost pool that has various levels, multiple waterfalls and the bridge running over it.

The province says inspections are underway and the repairs are expected to begin immediately. There was no timeline for how long the repairs may take.
