The $3.6 million is in addition to over $6.7 million invested in parks in the northwest over the past five years for improvements including:

  • New and upgraded electric and full services campsites;
  • Major road upgrades;
  • Improvements to a parking lot and boat launches; and

Planned improvements for 2018-19 throughout the park system will increase total investment in parks to nearly $110 million since 2008.  Saskatchewan’s provincial parks continue to be an important destination, attracting visitors and bringing economic benefits to the entire province.
